Privacy Notice

+420 Republic is a cultural and community project operating from Czechia. This page covers only the prelaunch /access registration. Contact: citizens@420republic.world.

• Email address — stored in normalised form to create your Republic ID, prevent duplicate registrations and send you the confirmation email.
• Age verification result — your date of birth is checked for the 18+ requirement and is not stored. We keep only the outcome and the time it was recorded.
• Republic ID and Citizen number — a non-guessable public identifier and your position in the Founding sequence.
• Points records — an append-only log of prelaunch Points awarded to your registration (signup, Founding, referral).
• Referral data — your own referral code and, if you arrived through someone else's code, a link to the Citizen who referred you.
• Consent records — that you accepted the Terms and this Notice (with version), and whether you gave the separate optional marketing consent, with timestamps.
• First-party usage events — page views, form opens, submissions and successes, plus campaign parameters (source, medium, campaign, content), landing path and language. These are aggregated for our own funnel measurement. We use no third-party advertising or cross-site tracking.
• Anti-abuse data — a salted, truncated hash derived from your network address for rate limiting. Raw IP addresses are not stored. If a challenge (Cloudflare Turnstile) is enabled, its verification result is processed at submission time.
• Email delivery state — whether your confirmation email was sent, skipped or failed.

• Registration, Republic ID, Points and referrals — to provide the service you asked for (contract / your request).
• Age verification — to meet our 18+ restriction (legal obligation and our own policy).
• Security, rate limiting and abuse prevention — our legitimate interest in keeping registration honest.
• First-party analytics — our legitimate interest in measuring our own funnel.
• Optional transmissions — your consent, which you may withdraw at any time.

Marketing consent is a separate, unticked option. Declining it does not affect your registration, your Republic ID or your Points. You can withdraw it at any time by writing to citizens@420republic.world.

No Citizen data is publicly readable. The public page shows only aggregate counts — never emails, IDs or individual rows. Internal operational views show aggregate metrics and Republic IDs only, never email addresses. Access is restricted to authorised operators.

We use service providers to run the app: our hosting and database platform, and a transactional email provider used solely to deliver your confirmation email. They process data on our instructions only.

Registration records are kept for as long as the prelaunch programme runs and your Republic ID remains active, or until you ask us to delete them. Final retention periods for the launched service have not yet been decided and will be published with the launch version of this Notice — we will not state a period we have not decided.

You can ask for a copy of your data, correction, deletion, restriction, or withdrawal of consent, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interests. Write to citizens@420republic.world. If you are in the EU you may also complain to your local data protection authority (in Czechia, the Office for Personal Data Protection).

Access is limited to people aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly register anyone below that age; if we discover such a registration, we remove it.

This Notice will be replaced by the launch version. Material changes will be communicated to registered Citizens.
